2019 Sino-Italian Cultural Festival-Machelata Festival Port Area Special Event

In such a vibrant season, the Sino-Italian Cultural Festival - Machelata Festival Port Area Special Cultural Exchange Conference was held in Wuyang Riverside Square.


Machelata, Italy, is the hometown of Matteo Ricci, a missionary. Taicang is the anchorage of Zheng He's seven voyages to the Western Ocean. On April 11, a delegation led by the Deputy Mayor of Machelata, Italy, visited the Import and Export Trade Center of Taicang Port. Officials of the port government and student representatives warmly welcomed and warmly received the Italian delegation.
